The deep purple, the brown and the white carry the mark in gold, where a foil line on a dark or neutral ground is read before the words are; the magenta and the sky blue take a white or navy mark instead, because the ground is bright enough that gold would disappear. Behind the window, the card is chosen per colourway rather than defaulting to white — including the near-black card under the magenta — so the lashes sit on a ground that was picked for them and the pack reads as one object instead of a frame around a card. The hang hole keeps every colour in the same pegboard slot, which is what lets five versions be one product line at retail.
